News | Plan B finish 1, 2 in Stan Gurney ANZAC race
28 April 2010
The annual Stan Gurney (Victoria Cross) Memorial race brought out the ANZAC spirit from a field of local riders this weekend.

Plan B Racing only had 3 starters on the start sheet, but boy did they make their presence known!

As soon as the flag dropped Anthony (AJ) Giacappo attacked and was followed by Michael Fitzgerald. The two of them hammered away in what turned out to be a race winning move. They took the race by the scruff of the neck and eventually AJ led out Michael for the win.

It was a fantastic piece of riding from those 2 with Luke Hardy providing assistance and protecting their lead from the chasing peleton.

Well done lads on another strong performance!

Showing form that bodes well for the upcoming Tour of Canberra, AJ reported that he was struggling to match Michaels turns some of the time!

So good luck to the team travelling to Canberra.
